The tender’s objective was an urban and architectural idea of a development in the location Chorvátske rameno in the proximity of Hálová – Rusovská streets. The main idea in the search for a composition in terms of substance and space and a solution in terms of function and disposition was to create a full-value urban environment with a distinctive hierarchy of the individual premises. The main compositional and functional axis runs across the body of water Chorvátske rameno and follows diagonally through the shopping arcade to the intersection Hálová – Rusovská and further toward Petržalské korzo promenade and the area in front of the railway station.Spatially, the designed complex is dominated by a building intended for temporary housing with three plus twenty storeys, which is situated in the intersection point of the visual and compositional axes.
